Featured Epitaph: ”Asleep in the garden of the brave”

This new website will provide details and information regarding the gravestone inscriptions of First World War burials: also known as ‘Epitaphs’. I aim to create a database for every casualty of The First World War who is burried in France and Belgium. And to record the personnal epitaph’s which are engraved upon their headstone. The epitaph database on this website is organised by the respective cemeteries in which they are found in an alphabetical fashion based upon the casualty’s surname.

Currently (March 2012) the site is being built and populated. Please call back to see future developments.
